Different kinds of glass coating processes are gathered under the term SURFACE-GLASS. These are obtained by means of a combination of last generation non-toxic and thermosetting resins. They polymerise with other elements/raw materials in an automated process.

The production lines comprise different application areas (4 robots and 10 application pistols/ guns in a transport line of 90 meters long). The glass containers pass through them and receive different kind of treatments depending on the desired finish. Then, glass containers go through the polymerising heats. Production capacity is around 20.000 units per hour, depending on the sort of glass container and on the coating to be applied.

A laboratory homologated by EU, certifies that all our finishes are suitable for being used in food glass containers. It also certifies that the whole process used for the decoration of glass containers complies with the applied environmental statements. Dissolvent or pollutant products are not used during/in the process. The production process is strongly concerned with Environment, and wastes of any kind, considered as pollutant, are used. According to the current “Containers and Packaging Recycling Law”, enacted in April 1997, glass containers coated by SURFACE-GLASS process, are recyclable. During the process, just organic raw materials are used.

Rebinsa has its own Quality Department that warranties and certifies all the controlled parameters, such as adherence, hardness colour, extension, etc.
